Meet HEERA. This business is our way of introducing the North East to the artistry and culture behind South Asian clothing. Like many people in the diaspora, we grew up hauling empty suitcases to India just to bring them back full of the beautiful textiles and clothing we'd find out there. After years of struggling to find authentic, beautiful South Asian clothing in the area we decided to take things into our own hands... and here we are!

Made by a small team of talented artisans in India, our pieces aim to showcase the intricacy and tradition behind our ethnic clothing while providing contemporary, versatile styles for our customers. This is also our way of providing positive representation of our culture- something we feel is lacking in Western retail. And we're inclusive!! We believe that anyone should be able to enjoy our clothes and our culture, as long as they know where it came from and respect its roots.
